Notre-Dame cathedral and Supervision …

… 30 years of history

[su_row][su_column size=”1/2″] It has been almost three decades since Supervision installed the first full daylight large video screen on the parvis of Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris on the occasion of Jessye Norman’s Concert.

Since then, Supervision has always been ready to jump in and participate in any major religious events during which Notre-Dame cathedral couldn’t shelter the crowd. We have in mind, in particular, the funeral of François Mitterrand in 1996, the masses in tribute to Pope John Paul II in April 2005 and to Abbé Pierre in January 2007.
The celebration of 100 years of Scouting, the commemorative ceremonies of the 850th anniversary of the Cathedral, the blessing of the bells and the Enthronement of Pope Francis in March 2013 highlight the rich common history of Supervision and this pure a jewel of Gothic flamboyant architecture.

The building, in its current state, faces significant architectural problems that involve a fund-raising appeal to ensure that the necessary renovation works will be carried out. Supervision has partnered up with the Sound and Light Show Dame de Coeur in the context of a new solidarity action for this symbolic monument and the Catholic institution to make its own contribution to this large-scale project that is just taking off and that is likely to last several years.

it is a great honour for the Supervision team and myself to participate in this operation

said Hernan Poblete, CEO and Founder of Supervision.
Thanks to its Event Media Department, Supervision has acted autonomously and has provided high quality content during the whole event.
